The previous ones had been presented in 2014 and 2017.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>At the state level, the only one in Mexico that has regulated it was Nueva Le\u00f3n in 2018.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Currently, five regularization projects are underway in five states of the Mexican Republic.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-24860\" src=\"https:\/\/cursotenenciaresponsable.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/senador.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"153\" height=\"194\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The senator for the state of Michoac\u00e1n Jos\u00e9 Alfonso Pascual Sol\u00f3rzano Praga (MORENA), presented the bill on April 27, 2021, which modifies the second paragraph of article 79 of the General Health Law to include ozone therapy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Previous initiatives<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The bill recalls the two previous initiatives that had the same objective: to include ozone therapy in the General Health Law.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>First initiative<\/strong>. Presented by Federal Deputy Mario Alberto D\u00e1vila Delgado (National Action Party) in 2014. After receiving a favorable opinion from the Health Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, it was considered by the plenary session. However, the Ministry of Health, through Cofepris, expressed its opinion against ozone therapy, an opinion that determined the end of the processing of the project.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Second initiative.<\/strong> Presented by Senator Lorena Cu\u00e9llar Cisneros (PT-MORENA) in 2017. She organized the forum \u201cTowards the Regulation of Ozone Therapy\u201d in the Plenary Hall of the Permanent Commission of the Senate on November 27, 2017.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Forum on ozone therapy in the Senate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Adriana Schwartz, president of Aepromo (Spanish Association of Medical Professionals in Ozone Therapy), Imeof (International Medical Ozone Federation) and scientific secretary of Isco3 (International Scientific Committee of Ozone Therapy), gave the keynote address on ozone therapy at the forum. \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cursotenenciaresponsable.com\/en\/the-ozone-therapy-in-the-agenda-of-the-mexican-senate\/\">https:\/\/cursotenenciaresponsable.com\/en\/the-ozone-therapy-in-the-agenda-of-the-mexican-senate\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Due to the term of the legislature the project did not go ahead.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Content of the current bill<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the reasons of the bill presented by Senator Jos\u00e9 Alfonso Pascual Sol\u00f3rzano Prague, it is explained what ozone therapy is, and it is specified that it is a medical act. Data on the scientific basis of the therapy are provided. The importance for ozone therapy to be recognized as a technical and auxiliary activity of medicine is emphasized. List where ozone therapy is being used in Mexico.
